McKenna - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 28, 1983 Services for Mrs. Margarete B. McKenna, 77, were held April 21 at Tallulah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rupert Coles officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral of Tallulah. Mrs. McKenna died April 16 in Long Beach, Calif., after a long illness. She was a native of River Falls, Kan.(?) an elementary school teacher, a retired librarian and Xxtional director for the Xxxxs Administration and a former worker with visually impaired children. Survivors include her husband, William P. McKenna of Blue Rapids; three stepsons, Patrick McKenna, Michael McKenna and Charles McKenna all of Kansas; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary K. McKenna of San Francisco, and Mrs. Elizabeth McKenna of Kansas; one brother, Myron Bailey of Tallulah and one sister, Mrs. Esther Amundson of Long Beach, Calif. Pallbearers were Charles Arneson, Dr. Jack Amundson, Jay Bailey, Dr. Sid Bailey, Dr. Colin Bailey and Dr. Mike Bailey.
