McKaskle died in a Pascagoula, Mississippi hospital as a result of burns sustained in an explosion of a defense plant where he was employed. He had been a patient in the hospital for two months since the accident occurred, but failed to improve in condition. Mr. McKaskle left his wife and small daughter; his father, Neal McKaskle, Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Jack Beasley and Mrs. L. H. Patrick, both of Monroe, Mrs. H. K. Porter and Mrs. W. Sikes, both of Houston, Tex.; and Mrs. Jacqueline McKaskle, Natchitoches; a brother, C. L. McKaskle, Sterlington; and a half-brother, Willie Sullivan, Winnsboro.
