Bryant of Tallulah officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche McGill of Tallulah, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Finley of Rayville, Miss Mandy McGill of Tallulah, one foster daughter Miss Lena Duty of Tallulah, one step daughter, Mrs. Blanche Cooper of Hazelhurst, two step sons, Vernon Cook of Hazelhurst, James Cook of Houston, one brother, Perry Dale McGill of Wheeler, Ill., one sister Mrs. Rose Morehead of Wheeler, Ill., and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leroy Founder, Donald W. Cooper, Robert V. Baker, J. C. Moore, Allen Godfrey, and Charles Whitaker.
