All rights reserved. ************************************************ Louise Fortner McDuff - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post November 15, 2001 TALLULAH - Louise Fortner McDuff died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Summit Hospital in West Monroe. She was 89. Born in Terry, Mrs. McDuff moved to Madison Parish in 1922 where her family were farmers and plantation owners for many years. She was employed by the State of Louisiana for 30 years in the Department of Welfare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck McDuff. She is survived by a stepson, Buck McDuff Jr. of Baton Rouge; two nieces, Jane Ronningen of Flat Rock, N.C., and Judith Croasdale of Richland, Mich.; and a great-nephew, James C. Fortner Jr. of Altanta. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
