All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Middleton McDonald - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, November 24, 1941 FORMER MADISON PARISH CITIZEN DIES IN NATCHEZ William Middleton McDonald, 72, former resident of Madison parish, died last night at a Natchez hospital of a heart ailment. Resident of Clayton, La., in recent years, Mr. McDonald formerly lived near Mounds. He was a former game warden. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Methodist church in Tallulah, the Rev. Henry A. Rickey, pastor, and the Rev. Clarence Crow, Baptist minister, officiating. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. M. A. Carbone, of Monroe, and Mrs. L. H. Stinson, Tallulah; one son, Watson McDonald of Delta; two grandsons and one granddaughter. From Madison Journal November 28, 1941 W. M. McDONALD W. M. McDonald, 72, died Sunday night at the Baptist hospital in Natchez, Miss., following an attack of heart disease. Mr. McDonald has been in ill health for some time. Mr. McDonald for about two years had been managing a plantation near Clayton, La., but before moving to Clayton, was a resident of Madison parish where he managed several plantations and was for some time one of the parish game wardens. Funeral services were held in Tallulah Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist church with the Rev. Henry Rickey, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Clarence Crow, of the Baptist church. The pallbearers were Neal T. Holt, W. B. Guthrie, J. A. Helgason, Henry C. Sevier, R. M. Almond and A. H. Willett, Sr. Interment followed in the Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. M. J. Carbone, of Monroe, and Mrs. L. W. Stinson, of Tallulah and one son, Watson McDonald, of Delta.
