McCready - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star November 11, 1935 TALLULAH, La., Nov. 11 — (Special.) — William E. McCready, 50, a resident of Madison parish for a number of years, died at his home nine miles south of Tallulah early Sunday morning after an illness of eight years. He had formerly been engaged in the logging business here. He was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services took place at the family home Monday afternoon, with the Rev. C. K. Smith of the Tallulah Methodist church officiating. Interment was in Silver Cross cemetery here. Mr. McCready is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. T. W. Jones of Tallulah, and Mrs. Herbert D. Worthy of St. Joseph; two sons, J. Alton McCready and W. E. McCready, Jr., of Tallulah, and a brother, J. A. McCready, of Quebec.
