McCready - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 5, 1989 Funeral services for Mr. Floyd M. McCready, 67, of West Monroe were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe with Rev. W. H. Xxxxce officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mr. McCready died Thursday, 29 at his residence after an illness. Mr. McCready was a long time resident of West Monroe and a native of Tallulah. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired steel worker. He was a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Edna M. Bearden McCready of West Monroe; one daughter, Monie Woodall of Bossier City; one son, Thomas J. Manning of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Ola Bedgood of Tallulah and Dorothy Coleman of Riverside, Tex.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harvey Hammond Sr., Harvey Hammond Jr., Ronnie Bedgood, Huey Izzana, Kenneth Boyd and Stuart Bearden.
