McCoy - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post August 30, 2009 TALLULAH — James C. McCoy died Friday, August 28, 2009, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 72. Born in Vicksburg, Mr. McCoy had lived in Tallulah since 1966. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn McCoy; a sister, Georgia Anna Everette; and a brother, George McCoy. Survivors include his son, Carl McCoy of Monroe; a brother, Marion McCoy of Georgia; and two grandsons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park in Tallulah. Visitation is from 2 to 5 this afternoon at the funeral home. Pallbearers are James Still, Cecil Wells, Allen McCoy, Joshua McCoy, James Bedgood and Joe Cupit. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
