All rights reserved. ************************************************ Johnnie Parker McCool - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post November 2000 TALLULAH - Johnnie Parker McCool died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at his home in Tallulah. He was 72. Mr. McCool was a native of Aliceville, Ala., and a retired Army veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. McCool is survived by three sons, Johnny McCool of Germany, and Ronnie McCool and Michael McCool, both of Vicksburg; four daughters, Delaine Harris and Myra Johnson, both of Tallulah, Karen Byrd of Delhi, La., and Terri Atkins of Vicksburg; one brother, Colie McCool of Warsaw, Ind.; five sisters, Mary Belle and Odell Herron, both of Warsaw, Ind., Louise Shellnut and Frances Christian, both of Vernon, Ala., and Lucy Howard of Columbus, Miss.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Richard Tyler officiating. Burial followed at 4 p.m. at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Aliceville, Ala., with the Rev. James Ivan Hall officiating.
