McClure - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 9, 1982 Services for James P. McClure were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crothers Funeral Home chapel Rev. Rupert Coles officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. McClure died Sunday at Delta Haven Nursing Home after an illness.. He was a native of Jonesville and a resident of Tallulah for 40 years, was a bookkeeper for Enterprise Inc. and a retired employee of Chicago Mill and Lumber Co. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sadie McClure of Tallulah; son, James P. McClure Jr. of Denham Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Wallace Hargon of Monroe, Mrs. Gerald Rankin of Vicksburg, Miss.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Earl Gilbreath, Don Belott, Lewis Naron, James Earl Shivers, Malcolm Stone and Frank Taylor.
