All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Walter McCarty - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post June 7, 2008 TALLULAH - Walter McCarty died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 91. Mr. McCarty was born in Epps, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for 60 years. He was a retired heavy-equipment operator. He attended Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bernice Taylor McCarty of Tallulah; two sons, Mack McCarty and Ted McCarty, both of Tallulah; and two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Magnuson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
