All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Earnest McCarty - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 26, 1986 Services for Earnest McCarty, 69, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of the funeral home. He died Sunday at North Monroe Community Hospital after a long illness. Mr. McCarty was a native of Delhi and a resident of Madison Parish for the past 40 years. He was a retired employee of the Louisiana State Department of Transportation and was a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Flora M. McCarty of Tallulah; one brother, B. L. McCarty of Tallulah; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Harrington of Toledo Bend, Mrs. Rita Medlin of Rayville and Mrs. Margaret Williamson of Lake Providence; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were nephews.
