All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Bernice Taylor McCarty - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, October 26, 2008 MADISON PARISH — Bernice Taylor McCarty died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 87. Mrs. McCarty was born in Franklin Parish and was a lifelong resident of Madison Parish. She was a homemaker and member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter McCarty. Survivors include two sons, Mack McCarty and Ted McCarty, both of Tallulah; two brothers, Earl “Bud” Taylor and Jack Taylor, both of Tallulah; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Magnuson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home
