All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Robert Eugene Mayberry - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 28, 1980 Funeral services for Robert Eugene Mayberry, 48, were Monday in Willow B3ayou Baptist Church with Revs. W. H. Remore and J. W. Xxxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah. Mr. Mayberry died Saturday in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness. He was a Madison Parish native, Big Star Supermarket employee and member of the Willow Bayou Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mayberry; two sons, Robbie and Mark Mayberry, Shreveport; two stepsons, Richard Walker and Gene Walker, both of Tallulah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Mayberry of Tallulah; two brothers, Carlie Mayberry of Holly Ridge and Douglas Mayberry of Tallulah: seven sisters, Mrs. Joyce Herman of Phoenix City, Ala., Mrs. Dorothy McCaskill of Shreveport, Mrs. Emma Taylor of Hurst, Texas, Mrs. Annie Bell Kile of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Hattie Powers of Ogden, Ark., and Mrs. Frances Hampton and Mrs. Pauline Jinkes, both of Delhi; his grandmother, Mrs. Mable Wilson of Tallulah; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Frank Skipper, Harry Herman, Saniford Parker, John Toney Jr., Doug Curtis Jr. and Al Hilton.
