She was 58. Mrs. Matthews was born in Binghamton, N.Y., and had lived in Madison Parish for 30 years. She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in Tallulah. She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel L. Matthews of Tallulah; two daughters, Christine R. Matthews of Tallulah and Danielle M. Agnew of Fredricton, New Brunswick, Canada; a son, Nathaniel L. Matthews II of Tallulah; and five brothers, Jim Corulla of Vicksburg, Ronnie Miller, Carl Miller and Joseph Miller, all of Binghamton, N.Y., and Gerald Miller of Chenango Forks, N.Y. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Ferre D'Cruz officiating.
