All rights reserved. ************************************************ Bertha Mae Glover Matthews - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 8, 2003 TALLULAH — Bertha Mae Glover Matthews died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at her home. She was 71. Born in Elgin, Texas, Mrs. Matthews had lived in Madison Parish for the past 28 years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Johnie Livingston Matthews Jr. of Tallulah; three sons, Nathaniel L. Matthews Sr. and Johnie L. Matthews III, both of Tallulah, and Robert E. Matthews of Delhi; a sister, Doris Glover Fontaine of Quincy, Fla.; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, Miss. 39213.
