All rights reserved. ************************************************ Sarah Lucille Wise Marsh - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 4, 2001 SONDHEIMER, La. - Sarah Lucille Wise Marsh died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at her home in Sondheimer, La. She was 83. Mrs. Marsh was born in Elba, Ala., and had been a resident of East Carroll Parish for 58 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Sondheimer. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard H. Wise and Harvey Gene Wise; and her sister, Lonnie Lee Wise. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Jefferson Marsh; five sons, Paul Jefferson Marsh nd William Edward "Cooter" Marsh, both of Sondheimer, and Jimmy Lee Marsh, Larry Mack Marsh and Billy Leon Marsh, all of Tallulah; five daughters, Alice Faye Eubanks, Dorothy Mae Ainsworth, Sarah Ann Shepherd and Katherine Lucille Powers, all of Tallulah, and Betty Jo Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Idell Mayberry of Shreveport and Bonnie Thornton of Bolton; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sondheimer Baptist Church with James Kitchens and Don Roberts officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were grandsons.
