All rights reserved. ************************************************ Joseph Jefferson "Jeff" Marsh - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 24, 2001 TALLULAH - Joseph Jefferson "Jeff" Marsh of Sondheimer, La., died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 92. Mr. Marsh was a retired farmer in East Carroll Parish, where he lived for 58 years. He was a former board member of the Madison-East Carroll Gin Association. He was a member of Sondheimer Baptist Church, a Master Mason and a member of Pecan Grove Lodge 222 in Lake Providence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wise Marsh; his parents, Joe and Lela Marsh; and two sisters, Annie Crawford and Ola Mae Riggs. He is survived by five sons, Paul Jefferson Marsh and William Edward "Cooter" Marsh, both of Sondheimer, and Jimmy Lee Marsh, Larry Mack Marsh and Billy Leon Marsh, all of Tallulah; five daughters, Alice Faye Eubanks, Dorothy Mae Ainsworth, Sarah Ann Shepherd and Katherine Lucille Powers, all of Tallulah, and Betty Jo Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Henry Marsh of Lake Providence, Winfred Marsh of Archibald, La., and Jack Marsh of Alexandria, La.; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Sondheimer Baptist Church. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Grandsons were pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were H.N. Pippen and Dr. L.P. Neumann Jr. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Sondheimer, P.O.
