Manning - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 8, 1984 Services for Mrs. Stella M. Manning, 91, were at 2 p.m. at Tallulah First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral home of Tallulah. Mrs. Manning died Sunday at Vicksburg, Miss. Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was an Ashley County, Ark. native and had been a Tallulah resident for 61 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, W.F. "Bill" Manning of Natchez, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Farrior of Vicksburg and Mrs. Ruby Harkey of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Vena Hobbs of Hamburg, Ark.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were R.A. "Racer" Holstead, Cordes Williamson, Nolan Smith, Charlie Hopkins, Bill Colligan, Buford White, Alvin Taylor and E.B. Towne Jr.
