Malone - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 16, 1930 The death of Mr. W. C. Malone on Tuesday morning came as a shock to the community, which was saddened by the news. Burial took place Wednesday afternoon in Silver Cross cemetery with services at the family home. Mr. Malone is survived by his devoted wife, George Wyre Malone and and son Charles, his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Malone of Memphis, Tenn., a sister, Mrs. J. E. Gachet of Memphis, a brother Mr. R. O. Malone of Waco, Texas. Out-of-town friends who came to attend the funeral were Mr. J. W. Kevil of Mayeld, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Vincent of Monroe, La., Mr. Chist of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Rodgers and Mrs. Jessie Gilbert of Winnsboro, La., Mrs. W. M. Montgomery and Mr. Dick Treaner of Monroe, La.
