All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Joe Magee Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 16, 1981 Services for Joe Magee Sr., 87, 10 a.m. were held Tuesday in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Magee died Saturday at Delta Haven Nursing Home in after a long illness. He was a native of Rankin County, Miss., and was a Tallulah resident of for 58 years. He was a retired general contractor and builder and a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Magee of Tallulah; a son, F.M. Magee of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer McGehee of Jackson, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Odo Cagnolatti, Ike Cagnolatti, Ross Murphy, Stanley Harmon, Billy Post and Edgar Lancaster Jr.
