Services for Mrs. Cordelia Magee Held Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Cordelia Magee, 76, who died Monday afternoon in a nursing home following a 
long illness were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby 
Brown officiating, assisted by the Rev. Colter. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under 
the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.

Prior to moving to the nursing home two years ago, Mrs. Magee had lived in Tallulah for the past 15 years. 
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Carter, Tallulah, and Mrs. C. B. Coburn, Lake Providence; 
four sons, Johnny Williams, Lake Providence, Cecil Williams, Baldwin, Mo., Horace Williams, Richmond, Va., 
and Luther Williams, Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Ellis Harkins, Alexandria, Mrs. D. Edbert, Campti, Mrs. 
John Carmon, Montgomery, Mrs. Eviline Roahto, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Mary Antee, Tallulah; 50 grandchildren 
and 10 great grandchildren.
