All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ James Edward Machen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 7, 1982 Services for James Edward Machen, 14, of Tallulah, will be today in the Tallulah First Baptist Church with the Revs. Xxxxes Jordan, Robert Stroud and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Machen died Tuesday in University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Machen; two brothers, Len and Bill Machen of Tallulah; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Cecil Machen and his maternal grandfather, Mr. Carl Griffin. Pallbearers will be Jay Nolan, Brad Nolan, Tommy Smith, John Storey, Ralph Dowe and Chuck Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be the ninth-grade students at Tallulah Academy.
