All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sarah Atkinson Luster - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 16, 1960 Mrs. Sarah Luster Dies Tuesday After Short Illness Mrs. Sarah Atkinson Luster, 79, died at the Madison Parish Hospital Tuesday morning after a four-Week illness. Mrs. Luster was a native of Newport, Ark., and had lived in Tallulah for the past 38 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Luster; two daughters, Mrs. Tinna Freeman of Blytheville, Ark., and Mrs. H. C. Richard of Vicksburg, Miss.; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. in the chapel of Young's Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were H. J. Jones, Bud King, R. E. Brown (others.)
