All rights reserved. ************************************************ Edgar Lee Lott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post November 2000 TALLULAH - Edgar Lee Lott died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 93. Mr. Lott was born in Hub, Miss., outside of Columbia and first known as Lott's Bluff. He worked as fire captain for Tallulah until 1944. He served as a shop foreman at Lamar T. Loe for a number of years and also worked at Patton's Hardware before becoming a partner in Delta Feed & Seed Delenting Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Susie Lott; a wife, Mildred Sturdivant Lott; and two brothers, Thomas Jesse Lott and Jack Lott. Survivors include his wife, Marion Walker Lott of Tallulah; a daughter and son-in-law, Jesse Lee and Pierce A. Stevens; two stepchildren, Daniel Walker of Fort Walton, Fla., and Rhonda Walker of Biloxi; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Fred Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 Thursday night at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Allen Stevens, David Stevens, Daniel Walker, Trevor Walker, Barry Haywood and Jules Schwan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Millikin, Bill Colligan, Dr. Paul W. Pierce, Tommy Leoty, Bill Harris and Grandville Harris.
