All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Rubye Laura Lord - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 5, 1984 Mrs. Rubye Laura Lord, 67, died at Delta Haven Nursing in Tallulah after a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Lord was a native of Xxxxxx and had lived in Tallulah many years. She was a retired xxxxx and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sammie J. Mason of Tallulah; four sons, Bloyce Lord of Springfield, Mo., Royce Lord of Rayville, Bill Lord of San Antonio, Texas, and Bob Lord of Slidell; three brothers, Thomas Earl Lord of Bastrop, John D. Lord of Carson, Calif., and James Austin Lord of Biloxi, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Zula Smith of Tallulah, Mrs. Eula Nelson of Grayson, and Mrs. Pauline Yanez of Yuma, Ariz., 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
