All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Mary Helen Gandy Loe - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 3, 1998 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Helen Gandy Loe, age 81, of Tallulah, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Loe died Monday, June 1, 1998, in the Delta Haven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tallulah and was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She was a member of Eastern Star, the Tallulah Garden Club and was an avid bridge player. Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Loe Stoddard of Van Nuys, Calif., and Barbara Loe Arrington of Tallulah; one granddaughter, Diedre McGehee of Newellton; one great-grandson, Trip McGehee of Newellton; one sister, Eleanor Terzia of Monroe; and one brother, Dr. Thomas Howard Gandy of Natchez, Miss. Active pallbearers will be Don McGehee, Buddy Terzia, Thomas Howard Gandy Jr., Morgan Stoddard, Bob Laird and John Ulmer. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Arneson, Edgar Lancaster Jr., Dr. Thomas Howard Gandy, Harvey Mounger and Leo Terzia.
