Lisonbee, Jr. Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 18, 1950 W. S. Lisonbee, Jr., Fatally Injured By Car Friday Morning William S. Lisonbee, Jr., 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Lisonbee, was fatally injured Friday morning on Highway 80, ten miles west of Tallulah, when he ran into the path of a west-bound car driven by L. M. McIntyre of Franklin Parish, after breaking away from an older brother. Highway patrol officers investigating the accident termed it unavoidable. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. H. Hamilton, officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home, in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wydell Oldham, Howard Brown, Horace Russell, Charlie Purvis. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Bennie Lisonbee, Gerold Dean Thornton; six sisters, Vallie Lisonbee, Rosa Lee Lisonbee, Louise Lisonbee, Verda Mae Lisonbee, Betty Joyce Lisonbee; Marie Thornton, grandfather, J. P. Rhynehart; grandmother, Mrs. Parmilia Lisonbee.
