All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Virgie Lisonbee - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 28, 1979 Funeral services for Miss Virgie Lisonbee, 77, were held Tuesday in Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Lester Xxxxon officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery, Miss Lisonbee died Monday in a Vicksburg Hospital after a long illness. He was a Mississippi native, a longtime Madison Parish resident and a member of Tallulah Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Leavy Griffith of Tallulah, Nancy Griffith of Gulfport, Miss. and Dorothy Williams of Stockton, Calif. Pallbearers were Parkview Baptist Church deacons. Honorary pallbearers were Miss Lisonbee's nephews.
