All rights reserved. ************************************************ Terrell Lewis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, April 19, 2004 WAVERLY, La. — Terrell Lewis died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at The Olive Branch in Tallulah. He was 93. Born in Indianola, Mr. Lewis was a longtime resident of Waverly, La. A farmer and gin operator, he was a member of Waverly Baptist Church and the Delhi Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lewis and Mattie Floyd Lewis; five brothers, Roy Lewis, Earl Lewis, James Lewis, Floyd Lewis and George Lewis; and three sisters, Gladys Castelo, Daisy Tate and Mary Lee Adams. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruby B. Lewis of Waverly; a son, Terrell Douglas Lewis of Benton, La.; a daughter, Jeanette Laird of Delhi; one sister, Viola Lewis of Tallulah; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were Sunday at Waverly Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Watson officiating. Burial followed at Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Vic Laird, Richard Skipper, Eric Bush, Doug Lewis, Richard Lewis and Clyde Jay.
