Lewis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 5, 1931 LEWIS FUNERAL HELD HERE YESTERDAY The funeral of Jack R. Lewis of Ferriday was held at the Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, yesterday afternoon, the services being conducted by the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Lewis was injured in an automobile accident Monday and died as a result of his injuries Wednesday morning at Natchez, where he had been taken for treatment. The remains were brought to Tallulah for burial. He lived at Newellton for some time and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of that place. He is survived by his wife and two sons, one son being in California and could not be located. The funeral was held from the Williams' Funeral Home.
