All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Charlie William Lewis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 4, 1977 Funeral services for Charlie William Lewis of Tallulah were held at 2 p.m. at Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Crawford officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park. Mr. Lewis died Friday at Mercy Medical Center in Vicksburg, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Arkansas, a resident of Madison Parish for 23 years and a retired farmer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lewis of Tallulah; five sons, Xxxx Lewis, Kenneth Lewis, and Xxxx Lewis, all of Tallulah, Grady Lewis and Vernon Lewis, both of Houston, Tex.; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Gentry, Mrs. Charlene Broussard and Mrs. Sybil Ashley, all of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Frances Rinicker and Mrs. Rebecca Pritchett, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Colon Riley of Lake Providence and Mrs. Mae Keuger of Cleveland, Ohio; one half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Perry of Lake Providence, one half-brother, Percy Watkins of Lake Providence; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buford Perry, Shelby Perry, Alvin Perry, Jerry Walley, Richard Marshall and H. M. Naff.
