C. Leoty Held Saturday Morning Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10.00 A. M. at the First Methodist Church for Earl Christopher Leoty, who died Thursday afternoon following a heart attack. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, he had lived in Tallulah for 25 years where he worked as a lumber inspector for the Chicago Mill and Lumber Company. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Faye Meadows Leoty, a son, Thomas E. Leoty, and two daughters, Mrs. Howard Sevier and Mrs. Jerome K. Post, all of Tallulah; a brother, Herbert Leoty, St. Louis, Mo., and four grandchildren. Interment, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, was held in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter Collins, Banks McDonald, Max McDonald, R. G. Long, W. A. Smith, T. C. Hancock, Joe Hamilton and J. O. Pemberton, Jr.
