All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Moreland Paul LeBlanc - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 30, 1957 Local Resident Passes Away After Lengthy Illness A requiem mass was said last Friday at St Edwards Catholic Church for Moreland Paul LeBlanc, who died last Thursday after a lengthy illness. He was 63 years of age and had lived in Tallulah for many years. A native of Donaldsonville, he was a member of the Catholic Church and was lumber inspector for the National Hardwood Lumber Association. A rosary service was held last Thursday night at Young's Funeral Home. Internment was held in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carmen LeBlanc of Tallulah; four sons, Paul Moreland LeBlanc. Jr., of Houston, Texas, Capt. Melvile V. LeBlanc of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Dr. Robert L. LeBlanc of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Hugh Linus LeBlanc of Washington, D. C.; his mother, Mrs. Paul A. LeBlanc of New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ballard of New Orleans, Mrs. Della Respress of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Merle Sonderegger of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Elton Everett, George Batchelor, Dr. S. J. Lombardo, T. A. Cagnolatti, R. L. Farr, E. B. Schicker and James Ellis.
