Leatherwood - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 26, 1984 Services for Mrs. Mary N. Leatherwood, 84, were at 4 p.m. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Xxxxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Leatherwood died' at her residence after an illness. She was a Tennessee native and had lived Tallulah for 55 years and was a member of Tallulah First United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include a son, James E. Parker of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Ward of Vista, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Douglas Malberry, Albert Fondren, Virgil Thornton, Ray Thornton, Bill King and Sanford Parker. Grandson and great-grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.
