Laws - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 20, 1958 Local Resident Dies Friday After Lingering Illness Thomas M. Laws, 79, a retired carpenter, died at his home last Friday afternoon after a lingering illness. He was a native of Mississippi, and had lived in Tallulah for the past 35 years, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services were held at 4 p. m. at Young Funeral Chapel with Mr. Albert L. Ward, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mr. Laws is survived by a number of nieces and nephews in Mississippi. Pallbearers were Bill Horn, S. L. Cummins, Billy Pemberton, Archie Fairbanks, Billy Grace and Robert Harvey.
