All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Margaret Laughman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 20, 1980 Services for Mrs. Margaret Laughman, 51, were Sunday in Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Mark Diehl officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Laughman died Friday in Mississippi Baptist Medical center after a short illness. She was a native of Winnsboro and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 38 years. She was a retired employee of the South Central Telephone Co., an instructor in special education for the Madison Parish School System and a member of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Crayton Laughman of Tallulah, a son, Len Laughman of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Belinda Stroud of Delta and Bridget Laughman of Tallulah; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert West of Monroe; three brothers, Robert West of Columbia, Ill., B. H. West of Monroe and James West of Atlanta; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jewell Loflin of Winnsboro; and two granddaughters. Pallbearers were Lanell Bradley, Freddie Helton, Clyne Elledge, Jack Folk. Jack Varner and Hollis Ervin.
