All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Jimmy Elmo Lane - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star May 13, 1960 TALLULAH (Special) — Jimmy Elmo Lane, 52, died at his home here Thursday following a long illness. He was a native of Blytheville, Ark., and had resided in Madison Parish for the past 20 years. He had been employed here as a millwright and was a veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral chapel with the Rev. J. H. Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery here under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabel Lane; a son, Billy Mack Lane of Flint, Mich.; two step-sons, Robert Farish and Pa[y]ton Farish, both of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Ann Northern, California; Mrs. Doris Ketlie, Oklahoma; Mrs. Gertrude McMillan, Dewitt, Ark.; two brothers, Herman of Blytheville, Ark., Johnny of Greenville, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethyl Tomlinson, Blytheville, Ark.; Mrs. Lillie Bassunder, Manilla, Ark., and 14 grandchildren.
