Lanehart - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star February 5, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Bessie B. Lanehart, 86, of Tallulah, who died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Barton Seiver of Tallulah, after a long illness. The Rev. J. David Corley was to officiate at Tallulah Methodist Church with burial in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home here. Mrs. Lanehart was a resident of Madison Parish for 49 years, member of the Tallulah Methodist Church and a choir director for the Angel Choir. She was also a member of Women's Society of Christian Service. Other survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were to be R. E. Fowler, Charles Arneson, W. W. Zeigler Jr., Caster Causey, W. T. Colligan, Phillip Crothers, John Earl Martin and J. B. O'Shea. Honorary pallbearers were to be the Men's Bible Club of the Methodist Church.
