All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Maggie Gushen Land - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 14, 1985 Services for Miss Maggie Gushen Land, 84, were at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Land died Wednesday at Delta Haven Nursing Home after a short illness. A Richland Parish native, Miss Land had lived in Madison Parish for 59 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Eula Wilkins of Tallulah, Floree Pollard of Clarksdale, Miss., and Sally Leggitt of San Bruno, Calif.; and several other relatives. Pallbearers were Johnny Wilkins, Jimmy Wilkins, Tilford Watts, Reed Foster, Dale Allen Jones and Mark Laminack.
