All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Minnie Mae Lancaster - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 8, 1971 Mrs. Minnie Lancaster succumbs at 88 Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Mae Lancaster, 88, of Tallulah, were held Friday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Lancaster died early Thursday morning at Delta Haven Rest Home here after a long illness. Mrs. Lancaster was a native of Clinton. Miss. but had lived in Tallulah for the past 37 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Glenn A. Lancaster. W. Crawford Lancaster, both of Dallas. Tex.. Donald D. Lancaster, Eula E. Lancaster, and Emmett F. Lancaster, all of Tallulah; five daughters, Mrs. Henry Joyner of Tallulah, Mrs. F. L. Johnson of Wisner, Mrs. Sara Garner of Winnsboro, Mrs. Frank Morgan of Rayville and Mrs. Lacy Tullos of Cotton Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Clint Gray of Waynesboro, Miss. and Mrs. Cecil Wilson of Hattiesburg. Miss.; one brother. Howard Alford of Clinton, Miss.; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Larry Lancaster. Robert R. Anderson, Emmett L. Johnson. Jr., Jimmy Morgan, Wayne Lancaster and Donald Lancaster.
