Edgar H. Lancaster - Madison Parish, Louisiana

TALLULAH — Services for Edgar H. Lancaster, 93, will be at 11 a.m. today at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.

 

Mr. Lancaster died Monday at his residence following a long illness. A native of Bolton, Miss., he had been a resident of Tallulah for 56 years and was a retired farmer and planter.

 

Survivors include his wife; Mrs. Willie B. Lancaster of Tallulah; two sons, Edgar H. Lancaster Jr. and Donald B. Lancaster, both of Tallu­lah; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Clair Placke of Tallulah; eight grandchil­dren and six great-grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers will be Mac Cagnolat­ti, J.C. Byram, Lloyd Shelton, Jim Gilfoil, Billy Post, Herbert Massey, Harvey Mounger and Leonard Neumann.
