Ladd Funeral services for Horace Franklin Ladd, 73, who died Monday about 1 a. m. in a Vicksburg hospital after a brief illness were held at 10 a. m. Tuesday. He was a native of Parsons County, Kansas, but had been a resident of Tallulah since 1931. He was a retired employee of the Chicago Mill & Lumber Company. Since his retirement he had been engaged in farming. Funeral services were held at Young's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R. V. Hunt officiating. Interment was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Masonic rites were conducted at the graveside by Tallulah Lodge No. 308. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Goodman Ladd; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Abrahm of Tallulah, and Mrs. Russell Carver of Hope, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Leath of Scottsville, Ky. Pallbearers were Moss Christian, J. W. Deason, Fred Massey, Junior Abrahm, Lloyd Alexander, Billy Morris and Ilar Osborne.
