All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Thomas Elza King - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post March 29, 1948 Thomas Elza King, Tallulah Resident, Dies Yesterday TALLULAH, La., March 29-Thomas Elza King, 57, resident of Tallulah for the past 15 years, died at the Madison Sanitarium here Sunday afternoon of a heart attack. He was employed by the Chicago Mill & Lumber Company here, in charge of the railroad department. He was a native of Campbell, Mo., and prior to coming to Tallulah had resided in Blytheville, Ark. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Maude King; two sons. C. S. King, Tallulah, and Ted King, Blytheville; three brothers, Jeff, Charlie, and Lee J. King; and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Polsgrove, all of Campbell. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will take place at the Baptist Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Shirley Briggs of St. Joseph, La., will officiate. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery.
