King Claude Lewis King, 90, of Tallulah, died Monday at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg following a long illness. Funeral services were at 10 a. m. Wednesday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Revs. Clark Bell and Joseph Harrison officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. A native of Marion, Ala.. he was a long time Tallulah resident. He attended Marion Military Institute and Auburn University. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Annie Blair Schnieders of Alhambra, Calif, and Mrs. Josephine Shields of Tallulah; two sons, Claude R. King and Pete King both of Tallulah; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Edward Eiland, Carroll Regan, M. C. Farlow, David E. Harvey, Bud Foster, Emily Dalfiume, Louis Tonore, Calvin Adams.
