All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ George Kimbrough - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 8, 1980 Services for George Kimbrough, 72, were Saturday in Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with Rev. Ned Stout and Father Joel Treadwell officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Kimbrough died Friday in Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a brief illness. He was a native of Lake, Miss., a Tallulah resident the past 50 years, a retired farmer and realtor, a former Madison Parish School Board member, a former member of the Madison Parish Hospital Service District, a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Methodist Church Men's Bible Class, a member of the Tallulah Methodist Church, a World War II veteran and a member of Scott-Nicole-Voak Post 100 of the American Legion. He survived by a daughter, Georgia Kimbrough of Monroe. Pallbearers were Bub Wyly, Fred Wyly, Kirk Morley, Harvey Mounger, Tommy Bishop, Judge Cliff Adams, W. B. Williams and Henry C. Sevier Jr. The family asks that memorials be made to the Tallulah Methodist Church
