All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ James Wesly Jordan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 19, 1958 Former Resident Dies Of Heart Attack Recently James Wesly Jordan, 51, formerly of Tallulah, died suddenly at his home on Lake St. John of a heart attack Tuesday, December 9th. He was a welder and machinist and was employed by the Dillon Machine Shop of Ferriday, La. He formerly operated the Jordan Welding Service in Tallulah. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held December 11 at 2:00 P. M. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John F. Meek officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ella Jordan, one son, Jack Jordan of Winnfield, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. T. V. Frisby of Theodore, Ala. and Miss Margo Jordan of Ferriday, two sisters, Mrs. Ozella Christman, Jackson, Miss. and Mrs. Nancy Clark of Detroit, Mich. Pallbearers were C. C. Mack, William Tanner, Marcus Schucks, Bill Neal and George Dillon, Jr., all of Ferriday, Walter Butler, Harry Roy and Ross Murphy, all of Tallulah.
