Jones - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 25, 1966 Funeral Services for Mrs. Mabel H. Jones Services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Mabel Jones, 84, who died Sunday in a Vicksburg hospital after a long illness. Services were held at Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Odell ???? officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was a native of Jackson, Miss. and had resided in Tallulah for the past 50 years. Survivors include two sons, Herbert Jones, Tallulah, L. P. Jones, New Orleans;a daughter, Mrs. W. ????, Vidalia; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Barton Sevier, J. O. Pemberton, Kirby ????, Jimmy Garrett, Bruce ????, Billy Morris and Jack Bethea.
