Jones - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 16, 1972 Jones rites set today Services for J. T. Jones, 90, of Tallulah, who died Tuesday morning in Delta Haven Nursing Home in Delhi after a lengthy illness, will be at 2 p. m. today. Services will be conducted in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah, where the body was transferred Wednesday from Mulhearn Funeral Home in Delhi. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. A retired farmer, Mr. Jones was a native of Mississippi and a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Vera Jones of Tallulah, he is survived by five sons, Gaines T. and Sam Jones of Miami, Fla., Huey Jones of Fort Gordon, Ga., George Jones of St. Francisville and William Jones of Lake Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Jenkins of Wisner, Mrs. Gertie Jordan of Oil City, Tex. and Mrs. Pauline Johnson of El Paso, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Allie Bingham of Monroe, 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
