Johnston - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star July 6, 1972 TALLULAH - Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today for Mrs. Blanche R. Johnston, 82, of Tallulah, at Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. C. C. Cornelius officiating. Mrs. Johnston died Tuesday at the Delta Haven Nursing Home in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crother's Funeral Home of Tallulah. A native of Lake Providence, Mrs. Johnston was a resident of Tallulah for the past six years and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Luey Johnston and Johnny Johnston, both of El Paso, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Dolly Harman, of Jonesville; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sanford Parker, Horace Russell, Bud Taylor, Jack Taylor, Melvin Bedgood and Ronnie Bedgood.
